Memory Card Performance

Just thought I would post to say that I bought a 32GB Class 10 SD card and it's great. Combine that with App2SD Pro and the tablet is running even smoother than previously.

Forgot to add that I highly recommended the above combination, the card was £22 delivered and is a Class 10 (tested) and the Pro version of the app was £1.29.

Cheers for this info, any chance of the link where it can bought for that price.

Also glad something on the Extreme is going your way :)

Thanks, it's really only the Flash 11.1 issue - ports seem to work, gaming is not bad, business use is near perfect - even coding on there is quite fun (with the correct app).

Anyway, here is the link http://tinyurl.com/d39mbnl (or for people who don't trust tinyurl links: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/130682453097? ... 533wt_1396)

The total cost is £21.33 and I have tested it in mine and it works as it should do.

Edit: The best speed I have managed to get (according to Windows) is 14.9MBps while copying over a 1GB file.

Thanks.... as I just posted on "your" other thread. Strange you experience issues with 11.1 Flash and others don't... :?

Just downloaded App2SD (free) and it does no more than move apps from internal mem to internal SD card, which is a little pointless as all this can be done through the apps mgr. Does the Pro version allow you to move apps to the external SD card and be able to run them from that. If not, then I can't see the point, apart from storing files and media.

That's the idea of the Pro version. I have moved all my apps over to the card. Some of them can't be moved but most, such as Photoshop Touch and games, can be.

Cheers. Have no problem buying the Pro version if it does move to external SD card.

Bit that annoys me is the release of the 16gb tab, for the same bucks I paid for the 8gb Extreme, and only a few weeks later.

Bit shody that in my opinion. :(

Been looking at the App2SD Pro listing and it says that the free is exactly the same. Usual diff, being ads.

That being the case the external SD card is of limited use, so I'll probably stick with my old 8gb card, until I find a way of "joining" the free memory, ie external and internal SD cards together.

My technical skills are really dated, but I think I remember that you can join file mounts together in Unix, so there should be a way of doing it here.......unless I'm over simplyfing things... :?

Anyone any ideas....

Thanks Piers. Looking for a 32gb card, maybe two.

Seems this is a good price as ebuyer has one for £29.99 http://www.ebuyer.com/268596-kingston-32gb-class-10-microsdhc-card-sdc10-32gbsp I was thinking I can stomach the extra £8 was worth buying something I've heard of, but if you like it then I might take a punt on the one you've got!

May I ask how long it took to deliver? I need it by next Thursday, so better order today I suppose.
