Elite or alternatives ?

I'm a bit techies and can cope with the few issues I have with my Extreme; a friend is considering one and I am tempted to suggest the Elite now it has been released.

Does it suffer the buzz ?
Is Wi-Fi stable?
Does it ship with ICS 4.0.4 ?

Alternatively, I hear the are a number of other comparable devices on the market now - any alternatives (with better reputation for support)

thanks

DB

I dont think the Elite has ICS 4.0.4, it ships with 4.0.3. I assume it will be the same firmware as the Extreme.

It has 16GB of onboard storage. That is the only difference that stands out at the moment, i dont think anyone here has purchased the Elite yet either.

Yarvik have better support, they have there own forum, and they have release the firmware.

In all fairness the Extreme is a quality tablet, the firmware is a bit rough, that isnt Storage Options fault though. Its the actual developers of the firmware... IE; Inet.

Thanks suggsy89.
After some surfing I found ipadalternatives.com and there is a raft of alternatives. On paper, the SmartQ T20 looks impressive.
I must admit to so much wanting to love my Extreme, I agree with your comment about the device's quality.

I'm certainly looking forward to you making your 4.0.4 available, if he goes for an Extreme and we're both on your firmware at least has has somebody to help (and to post to forums for him).
