Similar to THIS thread in the Excel forum, I'd like to be able to recover the original (balloon over mountain lake) wallpaper. The solution offered there :

Charlie wrote:
Go to the following directory:

system/framework/framework-res.apk

then view framework-res.apk

res/drawable/default_wallpaper.jpg

Extract default_wallpaper.jpg

doesn't seem to aply to the Extreme.

Any ideas?

Ah... found it!

It's in:

/system/framework/framework-res.apk/res/drawable-large-nodpi/default wallpaper

if anyone else is interested!

Well, yeah, it is... but I quite like the cruddy balloon ;) . I'd changed it to the fish-in-a-pond thingy, which is fascinating to begin with, and put some of my own images on, but I wanted the option to change back. The only options presented to you from the menu are some sort of boring blue background, some sort of boring beige background, some sort of... (and so on  )

Anyway, for them as wants it, that's where it is ;)
