That's a pretty impressive battery life, especially considering it's playing high definition video (mostly) and running wifi. It's better than my iPad 2!

Very good battery life, no one could expect more doing such hard work.

That's very impressive and encouraging.

This is my first post on this forum but I've been reading the threads for a week now since I bought my wife an Extreme. I've gathered that unofficial ROMs seem to suck on the battery more than the offical one but I don't see that at all in your tests.

I know this may sound dumb since I'm a new at the moment with all this but what version of ICS is your ROM and where can I download it if it's available? I've just put ICS (unoffical) on my HTC Desire HD and now want to improve my wife's Extreme.

Thanks very much and hope you can help.

I'm using the CM9 build from slatedroid. Have you installed CWM yet?

Not properly, I'm going to have to sift through the posts to get my head round that one. I know with my phone it was simple to install CWM but I understand from the posts here that Extreme is not directly supported so I'll have to install things like ADB. I've downloaded a stock image so I don't think I need to go through the back-up process right?

I'm guessing at this point I just need to put the ROM zip on the SDcard and boot into recovery mode..... but it's getting this recovery mode working that seems to be the sticking point.

Thanks.

***UPDATE***
All done and installed (PDAnet to the rescue!) but I seem to have some issues with this ROM - Going to start a new thread.

Thanks again.
