Youtube on HD TV

Hello,

I wanted to watch youtube via my Extreme (youtube app) through to my HDTV. I plugged in the HDMI cable to both the TV and the Scroll but nothing happened. It was on the correct HDMI channel on my TV so there wasnt an input problem.

Is there a setting on the scroll to make it go to the TV, particularly watching youtube and also all the other TV apps?

Also, if it does connect, does the tablet screen switch off or run as well as the tv?

Cheers

hi there,
i used mine on my Samsung TV, just plugged HDMI in and switched to the source on the TV. The Extreme display stayed on, sure of that, but the TV showed the display too.
I don't believe there's a setting to change on either side. Mind you, I only played SD-stored video, so maybe this is different with web sources.
Can you play video or show photos from internal or external storage on the TV at all ?
cheers, Tony
