I don't believe anyone has managed to pull a stock Extreme rom yet on this forum. The closest you will probably find on here is for the Yarvick https://www.sugarsync.com/pf/D7111682_3432376_64597 . However, if it is only your charger that has gone wrong why not send just that back ? Also, although it is only a trickle charge, can you not continue to charge your Extreme via USB ?

Hope this helps a bit...

Hi

I have a rom dated @ mid May which is a CWM backup and I'm sure it is the stock rom plus some google play items lol. Although I don't think I can host a 930Mb file anywhere without paying for the service??? If anyone can suggest anything to help then i would gladly donate my rom to science :)

Scroll Charger £4.99: http://www.storageoptions.com/products/ ... dc-adapter

Currently showing as out of stock - I hope that is not an omen.

That's a mighty big backup file you must have installed loads of apps before you backed up.
If you are able to split into 4 parts with each being less than 300Mb then you could use this (unless you already have it?) http://db.tt/4LG5LNIK

Irrespective of who you bought it from aren't you covered by the manufacturers warranty ? Have a look in the handbook.

Helpful if you resitered the purchase with S.O. in the first place.

I truly feel sorry for your plight but this should serve as a lesson to everyone of just how important it is to make back-ups before you go trashing your stock rom - it's great when it all works but it sucks when you brick it and realise you may have burned your bridges to get back.

Trashcooky, personally I have sympathy for Fregrin.

As I made several CWM Backups of my Stock ROM before I upgraded, but when I decided to restore from them they are useless as CWM complains of an MD5 error, which all I can assume is that something drastic was changed between 4.0.3 and the first of the 4.0.4 builds, as, as well as making several backups of the Stock ROM, I tested them with restores before installing the first of Sugsey's great 4.0.4 builds....

So, although you are correct stating we should make a back up prior to installing a new ROM, I do feel your statement is a little bit patronising...
