MS Office on Extreme

Hello all,
I am currently tossing up whether to get an extreme over a Nexus 7. I primarily want something I can create/edit spreadsheets/e-mail and word docs on whilst commuting; and perhaps playing basic games when at home.

My question is, what are my options for office on the extreme? Can I just get the standard office alternatives from the Google Play Store?

Also, has anyone had any experience of the keyboard/wallet?

Hi,

I have used Kingsoft office as like yourself wanted something to create/edit MS documents on, it suits my needs ok but i've not done anything groundbreaking on it :) but it's free and supports over 20 types of file types

I haven't used the combined Keyboard/Wallet but if you are going to use the tablet for spreadsheets etc have you considered a USB wireless keyboard & mouse ? I have one and it works fine, I think selecting individual spreadsheet cells might be better with a mouse than the touch screen.

Small USB dongle that connects using the OTG adaptor and the keyboard and mouse are powered from AAA cells, so not draining the tablet battery.

I do have the S.O. wallet/stand and quite like it but on the Elite the USM Host port is partially covered, not sure about the Extreme. There may be manufacturing differences as others have noted a different experience with the Extreme.

Sorry i completely missed that question lol...... I do indeed use the SO combined keyboard and wallet which is brill for use on a rigid flat surface :) for lounging about with on a sofa it starts to get a bit awkward so i just leave it unplugged and fold the wallet 180 degrees and use the touch type keyboard on the screen.

As BobC says to get better functionality in office the use of a micro usb mouse is handy
