Please can you help a newbie? I have searched the forum first, but havn't found a satisfacvtory answer, but if there is one, I apologise!

Anyway... I have the Scroll Essential with the wallet/keyboard, but I cannot seem to tget the keyboard to work. I bought the aforementioned Adaptor from Maplins today, because they suggested it would work, but I am having no success.

I know that the USB port works because I can connect it to my PC okay, and to the charger. I also know that the keyboard works, because I've connected it to my Xbox & PC, and all seems to work okay there... but connecting it to the Essential (in the only mini USB connector available) it doesn't seem to do anything at all.

So, I guess my question to you is, is the adaptor, as recommended by Maplin, actually any good?
