Hi webb2800,

Press the menu button and go into settings
Select application settings
Ensure there is a tick in the "Hiden Google application"
From a home screen do a long press and select widgets
Choose market - and hey presto you have android market
If it isn't broken then don't try to fix it!

Market is already installed, just use the search function on the tablet and type "market" it will pop and just click it

Not sure if the above posts will help as it's only the Excel that has the Market but hidden, and you have a Scroll Essential, I am not familiar with that model, sorry.

I had an "essential" Charlie before I sent it back for a refund and I got Market OK on it.

@TC - Thanks for the info - I hold my hands up as I got it wrong. Good to know the simple market fix will work for the Essential too.

Just as a note Charlie, I couldn't get the market working on the "essential" until I created a GMail account and logged in - after that it was always available.

Google Market is available on the Essential and you can add the Market widget to a home screen, but all the closed-license apps are missing such as BBC iPlayer, official Hotmail app and so on, so it's not great. I've even logged into Market from a PC and it will tell me that an app is available for my HTC 'phone, but not for the tablet. I've tried a few dodges, but nothing has worked so far :(
