Helo Marcus1,
Welcome to the Forum.
You need to provide a bit more detail - what actions are you actually undertaking to connect to the internet and what if any dialogue boxes show - and what are they telling you? What level/type of encryption are you using on your router? Tell us as much as you can about how you are trying to connect and what exactly seems to be failing.

@Marcus1

Go to settings > Wireless & networks > Wi-Fi settings > Add WiFi network - Enter your SSID (printed on label on router usually) - change security to the one your router is using (your router should be password protected with WPA/WPA2 PSK if it isnt follow your routers instructions to change this) - then enter your password (printed on label on router usually) and save - you should now connect automatically. P.S make sure WiFi is ticked
