If I had known this before, I wouldn't have bought one.

Thats a shame as the battery is awesome on the Extreme - naughty S.O!

Edit: How do you find out the battery mAH? Maybe some Extremes are shipping with different batteries - would like to check mine.

Unfortunately the only way to find out what the battery size "alledgedly" is - is to open up your tablet and look.
S.O. started shipping the Excel with a declared battery of 3,400 mAH , later this changed on their website to a declared 4,200 mHA. What is actually inside my Excel is marked as 3,600 mAH. You pays your money and takes your chances it seems.
If it isn't broken then don't try to fix it!

Also, see this:

http://www.slatedroid.com/topic/32242-t ... mo11-bird/

I am experiencing all the same problems cited here with my tablet- The keyboard flipping out on charge and the faulty Host port.

Looks like the processor does not clock to the specified speed...

Really disappointed, esp when considering this cost more to buy from Scan than the Extreme.

Storage Options probably need to look more carefully at what they get their name printed.

I think I would, if you are not that bothered about 16GB go for the cheaper Extreme.

So I guess I'd better get the extreme so I can get a better battery and have suggsy's updates?

I think so yes. I'm RMA'ing my elite and have already ordered an extreme from Ebuyer which should be here tomorrow with a free case.

I'm averaging about 5-6 hours with Suggsy's ROM which ain't too bad.
