Screen Quality

Postby jakeo » June 30th, 2012, 9:36 am

What's the screen like on this? A friend wants something for a bit of web browsing and for the kids to play videos on the move. I have an Extreme but you can't get it now for less than £180 which seems pricey compared to the new nexus 7, but alas the nexus 7 doesn't have a micro sd!

So, is the engage worth a punt for £120?

The Engage is 4:3 Aspect Ratio, 1024 x 768 - on an 8" screen.
I would imagine you would need good eyesight for smaller text but I expect video should be very good.
If it isn't broken then don't try to fix it!

The Google Nexus 7 is the best tab that you can have.

I very happy with my Engage
not many other tablets at this price with the resolution of the engage

the Nexus 7 has a better resolution but it's £200 for the 16gb, as it has no SD slot you wouldn't buy the 8gb version

:)
