When i plug a usb charger in usb micro port it wont charge how can i ge the scroll evoke to read to it i would rather charge usb than dc pin charger thanks jonathan

As far as I'm aware the USB is for data connection only and can't be used for charging the tablet. It will however output sufficient power to spin up an external 2.5" Hard drive which can be useful.

Did you read the instruction manual that came with your Evoke?

This is a copy and paste from it: NOTE Scroll Evoke does not charge via USB cable. Please connect it to a mains supply to recharge the battery.

All tablets based on this chipset require this method of charging and do not support charging via the usb port.
