Just been googling driver names, and came across a site that says the "SmartQ" uses the same driver as the Scroll.

My thinking is, Same driver = same board ?

Here are the specs of the smartQ tablet

-------------
* Processor: Telechip TCC8900 600MHz
* Screen size: 7 inch, 800 X 600 pixels
* Memory: 256MB DDR2 RAM
* Storage: 2GB Flash Memory
* Operating System: Ubuntu 9.10
* Language: English/Chinese
* Memory card slot supporting up to 32GB SD memory cards
* Wireless: supports WiFi 802.11b/g
* Battery: 3300mAH (About 8 hours reading, 10 days standby)
* Connectivity: 2.0 USB HOST supported to connect the high-speed EDGE, HSDPA network adapter or mobile phone
* Others: G-Sensor
* Dimensions: 205x136x16mm
* Weight: 380g
* Warranty: One year
-------------

Look familiar ? I know the Scroll has the Tcc8902 CPU, but can it be that much different ?

SmartQ R10 looks pretty damn similar to the Scroll

I am not expecting this to be an amazing discovery, but I do have most of my body parts crossed

Nice, now we're getting somewhere

I think the final trick is going to be finding out exactly what the original tablet is, that these are renamed from

Once we know that, we`ll find everything we need Im sure
