Scroll USB host mode

This is kind of a cross between OS and Hardware modding so I wasn't sure which forum to put it in.

Has anyone had any experience using the 'Host Mode' and android to write USB device drivers and plug them into the scroll? I'm really interested in custom devices and I'd love to have a go at this. Any advice you can give would be awesome!

Provided you get the kernel source (links in the forums somewhere) then a linux desktop with the arm build libs installed and kernel for the scroll to hand, there's no reason you can't compile custom .so files and hook them in with insmod / modprobe.
