Thanks but it just says no service and no notifications when i do that

looks like its not reading your drive are you pluging it in the right usb port must be host port mine automatically mounts and is it formatted to FAT32

thanks mitre do i formatt it in the computer first? as the first time i pluged it in it was ok but when i unmouted it
will not see it now and it dont connect in the market so i think it a waste of money

the market problem is the same for almost all 2.1 tablets with no 3g it can be fixed
should work formatt on computer dont for get to back up anything on the drive you need as formatting will erase all data if you have the option its better to formatt on the scroll

thanks for that could not find formatt on scroll sorry about this only had it a week and not to good with computers as when i put the usb flash in computer it just opens it could not find where to formatt it on computer once again sorry about this i am 71 as well

no need to apologise ok when you plug the usb in to pc and it opens a window look at the top left and make a note of the drive letter (usally d,g, or f)then close that window click start then click on my computer you shoul now see "devices with removable storage" use the right mouse button to click on the icon with the corect drive letter . now a klist should come up click on formatt you check that it is FAT32 and you can also name the usb stick on this page then click start . Done....

thanks again mitre i did the formatt but still dont see usb flash drive on the scroll still says no service and no notifications up top

ok try this for me on pc put a photo onto the usb stick plug it into the scroll HOST port you should hear a noise then open gallery app and see if the photo come up in the gallery(mine says no notifications aswell) i use astro app(free) to search the /scsi folder for anything on the usb

no photo come up on scroll when i did this what is the no service up top with the no notifications thanks so much for all your help so far have to get ready to go away for weekend soon when come home will download the astro will help if i every get the usb flash drive going again wish i had not unmout the usb drive
