market problem

market problem

This could well be a stupid question but i cant for the life of me figure out how to access Android marketplace. When i go there i get told 'there are no android devices linked to this account'. am i being dumb or just blind? any help appreciated

Not a stupid question - bog standard Scroll can't access Android Market.

Hi

I had same problem, so i downloaded launcher pro and it put market app on my device
and that works fine on my device.

thanks for the comments both of you. I had read that there were market problems but i didnt know this was how it looked. i guess i should root my scroll and that will sort it? what are the chances i will kill it tho?

Rooting wont make the market work. There are various was round the problem - most of which have been discussed somewhere on here.

To put your mind at rest, rooting wont kill your scroll, its what you do AFTER you root that may kill it (ie delete/rename system apps)
