I'm not sure what you did, but I put all files to build clockworkmod/cyanogenmod in public. please check them.

As this thread is getting a bit long, i'm going to suggest splitting it soon once we have got to a point where we have done as much work as possible on Cyanogen.

Im not going to do it yet, until everyone is as happy as they are going to be with it, but I intend to move the first few posts into the "How To" section here and leave the rest in its present place for discussion.

Thoughts?

Employees are like mules. Some you stand in front of and coax them along with a carrot. Some you stand behind and kick them in the arse. The key to management is knowing which mules are which!

i cant get bbc iplayer to work due to flash,
accelerometer is fine,
i ran angry birds, it was a little laggy to start but got better...
i modified build.prop
changed ro.sf.lcd_density=161 to 140 (looks nicer)
also changed dalvik.vm.heapsize to 42m
and added debug.sf.hw=1
after this daily use feels alot smoother

Hey Guys, I have managed to install this 2.3.4 cyanogenmod release sucessfully onto my Scroll II 8" and everything that was in the previously mentioned "works" list is accurate.... except for Wifi, it just turns on, doesn't scan for networks at all, and then turns back off again after 20-30 secs.

I have tried telling it to "scan" manually after turning the Wifi on but no scan is performed then wifi just turns back off as before!

Does anyone know if there is a known fix for this or have they experienced anything similar??

Cheers, Al ;)

Update:

Performed a "Wipe/Factory Reset" and "Wipe Cache Partition" from ClockworkMod 4 Recovery.

Then installed latest Scroll 8 Release: http://androtab.info/files/telechips/cm7/20110804/SCROLL8-16K/SCROLL8-16K-cyanogen-signed.zip from http://androtab.info/telechips/firmwares and Wifi worked.

Hope this helps anybody else with the same problem. :D
