Postby mintsaucesheep » July 23rd, 2011, 9:02 pm

Third tablet in a week, Jexaa are c**p, Viewpad 7 is slow, Scroll was going to be my saviour with the exception of no Android Market, but unfortunately I can't watch movies only listen to them. I'll post this is the write section, just wanted to let you know how I was getting on

Welcome to the forum :D

There are ways round the market problem which have been widely discussed on here. I personally dont watch videos on my Scroll, but i'm sure one of the other members will be able to help you out.

Have a read through this thread, might be helpful.

Employees are like mules. Some you stand in front of and coax them along with a carrot. Some you stand behind and kick them in the arse. The key to management is knowing which mules are which!

Hey there, thanks for the welcome. I'll check out the market options, but I really want to be able to watch movies, as I have my android phone for the rest of everything else I need.

Have a look above your post, I updated the last part :)

If you have an android handset you can get anything you want from the market via the phone, back up the apk using "appmonster", transfer it to your Scroll and install it from ther memory card

Thanks for the phone advice, might try that one. I do have a Dropbox account so I'll probably go with that option. Regarding the BBC iplayer thread, not sure how that would help me with watching videos, but thanks all the same

I presumed you wanted to play flash type videos, my mistake.
I'll have a closer look into this tomorrow for you.

No, please don't worry I found the fix in another thread.....it was the Output settings in Display. This forum is awesome, just need to find a few more things and I'm rolling. Thanks for all your help
