I'm here to help with the little knowledge i posses

try this one..... rename to update.zip flash usual way

ok when i tried 1st one install from sdcard , findin update,opening update, installing update, assert failed:getprop[ro.product.device==tcc8902 ||[ro.build.product]==tcc8902 ||getprop[ro.product.board]==tcc8902 E:Error in /sdcard/update.zip[status 7] installation aborted ? btw my scroll is tcc8900

you will have to do this yourself as i can't upload anything on my work PC
first download and install notepad++, use Google Search
open up the zip file in WinRar, locate updater-script >>>>>>SCROLL_UPDATE.zip\META-INF\com\google\android<<<<<<
copy updater-script to desktop, open up notepad++, drag and drop it into notepad++ and delete the first line, save it and push it pack into update.zip, try and flash again

ok m8 done all of the above was able to install updates now, scroll 8k-cynogen powered up few seconds later shutdown , 2nd update scroll 7-cynogen installed when powered up it just hangs on white screen with a scroll storage logo in middle , anyway at least it works clockwork mod recovery , but only update that works is miscroll-cynogen 7 mod but minus wifi and few other features ah well just need wait and see if theres a fix, but any way m8 thnxs for your help and patience with my issues, btw if it wasnt for this forum and all you guys i woulda binned my scroll ,

what do you mean powered up and shutdown... did it boot at all?

it boots up with white screen and logo , then goes black screen . basically it shutdown as i left it for few mins see if it was gonna come to life again
