URLs and their deletion

Postby alanhaverly » August 20th, 2011, 2:07 pm

I am new to the Scroll and cannot find a way to remove or change a URL in the browser.
I have tried to delete it, but it still appears across the keyboard.
Also, how can we get into BTOpenzone please?

Hi Alan, welcome to the forum.

I moved this thread to the "Help Requests" section, hope you dont mind.

Changing the URL is easy. With the browser open tap anywhere in the "address bar" at the top of the browser, it will then be outlined in orange and the text in it should disappear. You can then type in your search term where it will now say "Search or type URL".

With regard to getting on to BT openzone you need to do the following:

1) Press menu hard button then "settings"
2) Navigate to "Wireless & networks / wifi settings.
3) Click the tickbox at the top to enable wifi then click in "add wifi network" below, choose the correct network and add it.

Hope this helps
Dave

Employees are like mules. Some you stand in front of and coax them along with a carrot. Some you stand behind and kick them in the arse. The key to management is knowing which mules are which!
