scroll 7" battery problem?

Hello all my first post here so here goes

My tablet keeps charging! I charge it for 16hrs it says charge complete. I then turn it off and turn it on later for use and the battery meter moves like its charging.

Ive done a full reset and its still the same.

Ive installed a battery app and it says status charging. if I switch off the screen and turn it on again and unlock the device it says charging.

I need to monitor the battery as im using the tablet for reading my course work (its in PDF format) need to no how much battery it has left so it do not run out when reading.

Anyone else got this problem?

Hi,

From looking at your Scroll details, It looks like you have one of the versions that have this battery issue, I would contact Storage Options or just take it back to where you bought it and swap it for a new one. (If you got it from Maplin, once you get a RMA you can pop down to a local store with the Scroll and RMA and they should swap it over straight away.)

That's all I can suggest, as I am not aware of a way to sort this problem out with this Scroll model, maybe someone else does, but a return and swap is probably the best bet.
