No sound from 8" scroll tablet

Postby destony51 » September 22nd, 2011, 11:05 pm

I received my scroll tablet today unpacked it plugged it in and loaded a couple of albums on to it and a film but can't hear anything either through the built in speakers or headphones.I have been into the settings and turned the volume up as high as it will go to no avail. Also the orientation is locked into horizontal even though i have ticked the automatic orientation button.I bought this item for taking on holiday with us we go away Sunday ( not looking good ). Any help would be appreciated thanks :(

If both speakers & Headset are dead I would say it will be a return to sender type thing imho make sure you have not got it on silent mode is the only other thing I can suggest.

Others might reply with a better idea than that but if it's not a silent mode thing it sounds hardware related to me which would = Return under warranty imho
good luck.

If you got it from a retail store they might just do a straight switch

I agree, check its not on silent. If that fails swap it.

Employees are like mules. Some you stand in front of and coax them along with a carrot. Some you stand behind and kick them in the arse. The key to management is knowing which mules are which!
