[GUIDE] How to factory reset the scroll

just for my learning - how close would that be?

would it be like when it was new out of the box - except the following?

-youtube.apk or poss the new version of youtube.apk

just on a side note -

I had my scroll for a few days with the intention of a factory reset from boot - which I did about a week ago (just remembered that) and it removed all new installed apps - also when switched back on i had to go through the setup wizard and put the market place back on as per S.O. instructions in the manual.

So i am thinking that the boot menu reset does more than the reset option in the setting menu?

The boot menu one probably just reflashes a system.img from somewhere. you access it the same way as the recovery menu...

I am only guessing remember. Also I have no ida where this would be stored to pull it out. I dont know enought about android to really attempt to find this.

It may just be a script that rund and copies apks back to where they should be etc. I just dont know
