Hi everyone - just to let you know the discount code is working on the Storage Options website, and i've just received this message from Paul to pass on to you all:

Hi all,
Apologies for the problems some of you have experienced attempting to claim the 10% discount for all forum members. There was a problem with the website over the weekend which meant that the discount could not be claimed.

We have now fixed this and there is still plenty of time to claim the discount before the offer ends on 20th January.

Storage Options want to thank all members for their support and recent feedback.
They have now given us a discount code for 10% off any product from their website.
This includes the new Scroll Excel Tablet - but please note the following:

*** The discount for all members is: FORUM12 ***

1. Offer code can be used after midnight tonight until 23:59pm on 20th January 2012.
2. The code gives 10% off ANY product ordered, not just the scrolls (excl. del charges)
3. This offer is only available to forum members
4. Last shipping date for pre-Xmas Deliver is 4pm 22nd December, but no Excels or Essentials are in stock for pre-xmas delivery
5. Any orders placed now for items currently on pre-order, will be delivered in January as per the delivery estimates on the SO website, and pre-order prices will be honoured
6. Pre-orders for the Excel / Essential should be placed ASAP as stock for delivery in January is already being allocated and running out.

Nice to see that the forum members now have a discount code. I was hoping it was going to be more and a special discount for those of us that have been on here for nearly a year now and helped users from when the 1st Gen Scroll was launched.

Maybe my days are numbered here then, ummm.... it's going to be hard to help others with the Scroll Excel, when I don't own one.

The 10% discount would have only saved you £8, if you bought it from a place with free delivery. As you have to pay Storage Options £4.99 for delivery so you have to deduct that cost from the 10% discount (129.99 - 10% = £13) - £4.99 = £8 saving, compared to buying it from another online store at the full price of £129.99 (with free delivery)

Hi I am trying to place an order with the discount code, it accepts the code, but when i go to checkout it asks for £129 +£4.99pp ie the discount as gone. Do not want to enter my debot details untill the price shown includes the discount.

Well thanks for fixing the order page and discount now working. I go to order and see the price as increased from £129 to £149. for a pre-order for Jan. Does not seem fair or right. Could forum members have the £129 for pre orders. At least until xmas ?
