Hi

I've ordered an Excel last week, for delivery in January, I wish I'd registered here first, to get the discount though!

I'll be lurking around on the forum, soaking up advice until I can get all hands-on. I've never owned a tablet PC or an Android product (that I can think of at least!), but I've been considering it since way back when nokia brought out a device that used it. I've had an iPhone 3GS for the last 2 years and use that for almost all emailing and web surfing, so it'll be nice to have a bigger screen to read! 8-)

I work shifts, but I have Tapatalk installed on the iPhone, so i'm sure I'll be on here at all times of day and night! :D

Catch you all later
Dave

Nice one, glad you finally got it, where did you order yours from? - Still waiting for mine.

Hi Charlie

Sorry i didn't reply earlier, but Tapatalk has been playing up for me and I've been busy learning about the quirks of Android!

I hope you've got yours by now, but I ordered from SO direct and they promised delivery before the 13th of January. Big shout out to SO for getting it right.

Well so far I'm very happy and I've had none of the problems reported by other people on the forum! (I hope I haven't spoken too soon! LOL)

The only thing I wish I had so far, is Bluetooth. My iPhone 3GS will do Internet tethering via Bluetooth, but not via WiFi! :-(

I've had a couple of issues with apps closing, but nothing annoying yet!

My Western Digital portable HD won't work, as even plugged in, it doesn't appear to supply enough juice to run it! Not the end of the world, but slightly disappointing!

Android Market is still working and the only problem at the moment is Kindle not showing books as being available in my country!

I'm more than pleased.
