Of the apps I managed to download on my first visit to marketplace, Twitter, Labyrinth Lite, Disney Jigsaws... They open upside down on the Scroll, when I am holding it vertically the right way up (navigation buttons at the bottom).

So because the apps appear upside down, I have to turn the scroll round to hold it, which means my hands are near to the off and volume control which I keep pressing by accident.

Is this a problem other people have and is there a resolve for it?

I have that issue too.

What version of firmware are you on? Can you stick it in your signature please?

Its a issue with tablets that have v1.01 firmware, a new firmware release from scroll will be released in the coming weeks. This may fix many bugs that have been found with the tablet
