just done that - but windows popped up with the need to find hardware box - (like the one before any driver was installed) is that right?

but the scroll did go to the scroll logo screen and hang. like it should do.

Oh it popped the box up again? Install the hacked driver again I guess? (or check control panel first and see if you need to do this)
Then try script 2 on the hung screen if you feel like it.

the driver info in control panel says it ok and is installed as "android composite adb interface", just no digital signer.

2nd batch file will not run - just an off the wall guess - is there anything in the first batch file that relates to a device id?

as i recall your mod worked for Veng, but he had the usb drivers already and he is on firmware 1.01.

Dont know if this helps but on my windows 7 pc my scroll is installed as an "android adb interface", when using the "have disk" feature this was one of the three driver option i had located in the google usb drivers folder

both android adb interface and android composite adb interface should work

Charlie what happens when you run the second batch file? neither of them have anything to do with device ID's thats why there is teh warning to remove all other android devices

ok thanks for that info.

on vista 32bit it is installed as "android composite adb interface" is that causing the issue or just a vista thing listing the driver as that?
