rebooting, didnt see anything during the flash process, if this installs you tube it will be a dead give away that its worked as i havnt bothered fixing it!

Nothing, no youtube, but the date and time is always wrong after an update.zip is applied

oh? Its meant to print text out to the screen when it flashes...

What does it set the date/time to?
When it flashes are there any errors? Syntax errors or anything?

no text during flash apart from the nandroid info that appears during the flash proceedure, the date and time is always around 02:04, 16th (ish) september 2009

doesnt report any errors, however, when it finishes and the nandroid menu is back, if you select reboot it appears to turn the scroll off, requiring you to turn it back on manually

just for info, after each apparent unsuccessful attempt i reflash with nandroid from a previous backup

as for the date and time, it resets to 02:31, 2nd september 2009

September 2009? I assume that was the date teh original firmware was flashed... no Idea why that happens..

when you select teh update.zip the scroll turns black?
