wrong tablet forum but need ask question

Hi all, just quick question .. i have sumvision cyclone astro 7 inch capacitive .. been searchin internet see how i can do recovery as it hangs on logo screen. but with no joy been to every android forums but found nothin . just wonderin if you guys can help and point me in right direction be much obliged

Hi and welcome yuor tablet looks like one of the clones
so try turn off power and then hold down power and menu button together until you are in the recovery screen
then volume up /dn to cycle and power to select

Hi there , ive done all that clear cache etc factory rest then reboot, but still hangs after reboot i havent modded it either but im wonderin if i can do backup. but need clockwork recovery but cant find where to get it any ideas

did you have the power adapter plugged in and on when you did the reset? - if not do it again with the power adapter plugged in and on.

btw - what was the last thing you did, before it started hanging on the logo screen?

i had my sd card in tablet , had apps on it but ended up in recovery mode for some unknown reason when i switched on tab , then i saw it sayin findin update etc so i took out sd card .then the tablet froze so i assume that might have caused this but all what was on the sd card was apps nothin else , anyway after i switched it back on all it does now is hangs at logo

ok hold down the power button for 25 seconds then press power button for 2 seconds and it should boot

been searchin noticed clockwork recovery will i be able to install that and do backup of my current os? if so do i have to get my tablets version of clockwork recovery or can i get any version basically have nothin to loose now as its dead in the water at this time

the clockworkmod we are using on this thread viewtopic.php?f=48&t=1800
Was made by fun on xda forums it was made for the ainol novo7advanced but we found out it works on the excell without any mods so it may work for you too its alkso working on a few other tabs aswell as its fairly generic
