HELP!!!!!

hi all , i have brought a scroll essential tablet with a generic keyboard case, i also purchased a micro usb adapter, my keyboard still does not work there are no settings on the tablet to activate the keyboard does anyone know how i can do this? need this sorted urgently thanx ;o(

Ok. A make or model might be helpful.

I dont personally use a wired keyboard, but the people who do say they are normally plug n play. I can only presume the excel doesnt have the required drivers for your device or your keyboard is faulty.

Do you have any lights on it that are lit?

it doesnt have a make or model no, all it said was it fits all 7" tablets!

hi the keyboard works when connected to a laptop but does not work with my tablet? do you know if its possible to get the required drivers or do you think that the device is faulty? apparently the others that have brought the tablets and keyboards are having the same problems

Ok.... If the keyboard works when connected to another type of device I presume the hardware is ok. I can only think that the issue is indeed an android-compatibility issue. I know of certain makes of keyboards that do work. My suggestion would be to return the item as "not as described" if the ebay ad stated it worked with tablets. There is a small possibility of obtaining a driver for it from the manufacturer if we knew who it was, it would then have to be "pushed" onto the device in order for it to work.
