hi all.. after gettin tablet workin again, downloaded http://files.androtab.info/allwinner/cm ... covery.zip clockworkmod recovery then done full backup onto sd card , then restored it from sd card all is workin . so i now have workin ICS v4.0.1 with cwm recovery

good news so you got funs ICS CWM5 for the ainol7 runing on your tablet
is there any problems with the button mapping for you or not (inCWM5)

hi m8 . no probs at all everything is workin m8 camera/wifi/buttons all is workin when it was v2.3.4 theres an update for novo7_aurora_firmware_4.0.3 ICS was gonna try update

are the buttons correct for your tablet cos the ainol has no hard buttons I was wondering if i could flash my clean 2.3 from here viewtopic.php?f=48&t=1978
with the clocworkmod you have so i can go back and forth 2.3 to ICS
if i flash ICS and cant get back to 2-3 for the forum i would br stuck

custom recovery works on my tab ,and yes it has hard buttons

how do you get into the new recovery hold menu and power till you are in recovery
then volume up/dn to toggle and power to select ? i know the 4.0.1 has a different nand partition to 2.3.x so was wondering if the clockwokmod would be able to flash my existing image back or it would be lost once i flashed the momo9

do you feel like doing me a big favour and see if you can flash my clean from stock SO excell 2.3clockwork image with your clockwokmod as thats the only thing stopping me flashing momo9 if i cant flash my clean 2.3 back
