BTW, an update: the driver installed so well that when I plug the tablet in windows brings up a Windows Explorer (file manager) window displaying it's contents :¬)

Right the ADB drivers should NOT load the SD card content when you plyg in the tablet... this is an option on the tablet itself :S
If you want to flash clockwork you CANNOT have the SD card mounted and accessible from your computer...

I need to test these hacky drivers at some point when my scroll arrives I will test them.

mine does not mount the sd card. (goodtimes)

i was asking diego to send me the file to look at, as it looks like his sd is mounting (badtimes) - because i am concerned about this - as he has followed my *Not confirmed yet* hack

No your driver looks like its fine, thats not what has his SD card mounting. Its a setting on the tablet that does it.
I mean your driver is working the first script ran! Can you run the first script, then when it reboots unplug it and plug it back in and tell me what device windows sees it as?

ok - will do.

please confirm 1st -

so when it hangs at the scroll logo - just unplug & plug back in - *** & not switch off the scroll ???!??!? ***

(hope that makes some scene - i've gone brain dead :)

Yea just unplug it with the screen frozen and plug it back in then tell me what its reconised as
