Right! thats good! you can install the android driver for it again :P
I think its because you have a slightly hacky driver and the bootloader interface (the frozen screen) is different to the normal development adb interface.

only probs at that stage - when i have to install the driver again - i have to restart the pc for it to work and then uplug the scroll & back in again - is that not going to mess up the second part of clockwork mod?

(my hacky driver ;) .... yes is very very hacky - most likey f**ed) that's why it would have been nice to see what diego had in his file, from his interpretation of my unconfirmed hack. so i could compare it with mine :)

I like a few others am having no joy getting these drivers installed.
My laptop is running Windows 7 Home Premium Edition (64 bit I believe).
In device manager under other devices it says !Android Eclair.
I have tried the drivers included in the download link in this thread and when I try to update/install the drivers its just says there are no suitable drivers?
I have also tried the link to the sdk developers Android when I try to use there sdk download it then says I need java to run the pack. I installed java but it still won't install the sdk....
I spent a couple of hours trying to get just the driver installed last night but got no where.

Any ideas where I can just download the driver I need for Windows 7?

Sorry for the maddening delay m8. The wife called me to bed to watch a movie.

Here's the file: http://naphoria.com/android_winusb.rar

Steveee: try adding the lines as added to the 32bit section to your 64bit section, with obvious changes.
