Additional Missing Permission Files (Excel)

Postby Charlie » February 21st, 2012, 12:47 pm

Hi @blueeggle69 (and others, if you want)

I added 1 or more the other week to get an app I needed, but can not remember which ones. (I did think we had them all, apparently not) If we compare your list of permission files to mine, I can upload your missing ones.

Q: What permission files do you have on your Excel?

Check in here (/system/etc/permissions/) and list the file names you have, please:

Hi Charlie.
Sorry for the delay, I didn't see the thread :(
Here is a complete list of permission files my Excel has.
---------------------
android.hardware.camera.autofocus
android.hardware.camera
android.hardware.location.gps
android.hardware.location
android.hardware.sensor.accelerometer
android.hardware.sensor.compass
android.hardware.touchscreen.multitouch.distinct
android.hardware.touchscreen
android.hardware.wifi
android.software.live_wallpapers
com.android.location.provider
com.google.android.maps
handheld_core_hardware
platform

I believe that's everything.

(edit) I never realised that in /system/etc/ there is a file called 3ginfo.txt. And this text file contains the following;

Use : Just inert the below doogles:
HuaWei wcdma:
E220
E230
E180
E1550
E1630
E1750
E1782
E1820

That is word for word. I love the word doogles lol.
At least I know the complete list of supported 3G dongles.
Although I think a MIFI travel router may be a better option for web on the go.

Thanks again Charlie.

Thanks

I will check against my Excel, later - but I can see one missing to do with the telephone (yes I know the Excel does not have the hardware, but some apps ask for this permission and don't use the phone hardware) - This is probably why you could not get the trainline app you wanted.

Done,

These are the files you don't have:

android.hardware.telephony.gsm.xml
android.hardware.touchscreen.multitouch.xml
android.software.sip.voip.xml
features.xml

You can download them here

Cheers Charlie. I will put them on later.
I am at a loss why justb over at viewtopic.php?p=15911#p15911 cannot see Galaxy on Fire 2 THD on his market.
As far as I can make out he has the exact same setup as me.
Totally weird and annoying.

Thanks again matey.
