Hi @Charlie - Take your time, I'm sure no one is in a rush with this.

I'm amazed that you've got as far as you have with things.

Not created a subdomain for a long time - Surely it should be done by now. Its been over an hour now and the server status still says "Applying" for the subdomain.

@Charlie - I don't know what service you're using but, the last time (not for a while) I created a sub domain, it was created pretty much in real time.

That's what I thought, it does depends how the host does it (technically it should take 2 seconds) - I have just read that it seems my host does them in a batch every 3 hours.

UPDATE: Just as I posted the above, the subdomain is now ready. :)

We have lift off!

Today I have managed to get the .zips ready for people to access, as Dave intend. - Thanks to Dave for starting this project and Amy's & Excel's help today.

Please bear in mind the following:
  • In no way will I guarantee it works. I personally have not tried it yet.
  • I am NOT RESPONSIBLE if it breaks your tablet
  • I would strongly suggest only advanced users play with this stuff. I am even having to ask for help from the source with it before I attampt anything.
  • I will not divulge the source, so don't ask!

The archive is password protected to prevent unauthorised use, if you require it please pm/email me. I will only divulge the password to those I know well on here. If you are given it DO NOT pass it on - I will not be happy!

Have fun!
...

I think that it's only right that the above quote by Fonefixer still apply. Apart from that you need to PM (not email) me now for the access details, as the .zips are on my server.

Enjoy!

Thank You Dave :D

Thank you Charlie, thank you Dave / Fonefixer and thank you Amy.

As one of the technically less gifted members of the Forum, I shall wait for the likes of Charlie and Mitre to check things out before I attempt to upgrade my device.

If anyone is at all unsure of what they are doing, my advice would be for you to wait too... remember, you sometimes have a better time if you turn up fashionably late at a party than you do if you're one of the first to arrive!
