I do have win 7 64bit - just not put it on the pc's yet. Let me now if there are any files you want me to host on the server - So we can keep a copy of all the project files together.

ust a thougt when i open device manager i cant see any androd until i turn on the Excel so it seems my pc cant see it if its switched off
pheonix need it off to flash but the pc cant see it
livesuite do i keep hold of volume and press power or release volume and press power but i think thats maybe the problem any thoughts

Hi mate,
Use LiveSuit, its easier and safer, i nearly had a brick using Pheonix,
In LiveSuite
Make sure Excel is "OFF"
Hold Vol+, Plug in, while still holding Vol+, press Power 10 times

Correct, load it first in livesuit before doing anything else ;)

selectImg/filename/open
it fills the Image line with the path c:\Document.............blah
now v-up and plug in
