@blueeagle89 hold down power for 20 seconds DOH! i told so many people about this on GB threads its for if you accidently pull the usb chord whilst flashing a rom it will shutdown and reset i forgot all about it
what a K@#b it prob would have worked(will never know now) but least we know hot to shutdown via terminal now thanks to Excel saves a few presses of that darn button

Yeah, they are talking about building a livesuit image
To do what they are talking about, you need a linux machine and lots of time and patience.

Of which neither i have Apart from linux

The new English ICS is great, everything works great apart from the Market, sorry 'Play Shop' (who came up with that?!) doesn't show many apps. Is it possible to modify the build.prop file to show more apps? Eg google apps, facebook etc.

Yes, I've tried Allwinnermod but it doen't seem to make any difference to the range of apps available.

Google Maps wont be available because the frameworks for it are not in the rom.

I am working on a flashable zip, if i can get it to even work, i will look at added these to the update, at the moment im stuck hitting my head against a brick wall.
If you can tell me why, when i flash it, it screws up with the storage, and then tells me when i install an app, there is no space left on the device? After that maybe i can fix this....

Playing Riptide GP with a joypad right now, you know ICS has joystick support

Directory bind seems to work, so much so that I have not had to re download all the game data for Shadowgun, GOF, Sonic CD. Just pointed Dirrectory Bind to the Data folder on SD card, install and play.

Also, we need to find a better donor for the "ro.build.fingerprint" - ideally one from a popular 4.0.3 device with the same hardware, if there is one - What do you think?

Also for better market - Permission files might be missing too.
