power button trouble

Hi all just i got some trouble with my power button it only seems to work eraticaly any one else having issues with this
have to press 3 times to get a reaction and when i long press dont get option to shutdown the screen just switches off
also cant get into recovery as hold pwr v-up does nothing
wonder if
Code: Select all
busybox poweroff -f

has done something it deffo seems software related??
i know -f forces close without using init but dot know what that does

Recovery should be Menu + Power 3 Seconds, then let go, on "Suggsy ICS" ;) lol

yeah but i still got no control over the power button prob have to try livesuite again to try get back to a stable condition unless somethings fried!

Have you tried flashing the "Tablo" firmware?
Maybe then you will be able to see if it is a software or hardware problem?

i have just gone back to daves ICS so will check just doing factory reset now
its the same will try go back to GB tablo

Power button is fried :(

There is an app on the market called "quick reboot" it kind of works, but to go to recovery you have to hold "menu" button then click "reboot recovery"

i think so too im on tablo now anyway giong to get back to stock then take stock :(

did you do a script for getting cwm5 on gb or not
