Edit no it won't im a dumb ass. The second batch file is fastboot not adb

Sent from my Dell Streak using Tapatalk

I looked at what windows did, the second device driver it loads is different from the first. Initially the device driver is 'android composite ADB interface' , and when i run the 1st batch file, the second device driver is 'android ADB interface'. - any thoughts?

it should work with either as far as i know?
Tried just running the second batch file?

Can't get this to work on mine, here's what i've done so far:

Followed the guide to the letter (i think), installed the usb driver correctly. It reboots my scroll on running the first batch file, ive then also tried replacing the 2nd driver with the one listed just above. The second batch file appears to load, says its writing to the scroll and reboots it. I do see a final message on the cmd window but cant read it as it closes too fast.

However, when i reboot again and hold down the vol+ key i still have the same recovery options as before.

One little point, should i "mount" the internal nand flash onto my pc or not? I noticed the previous posts said dont mount the sd card so i removed it to be on the safe side.

Any ideas appreciated Gents....
Dave

You do not want the SD card mounted, you dont want anything mounted.
can you run the second batch file from a command window? (Hold down shift and right clik in the recovery folder there should be an option similar to Open Command Prompt here)
then just typr in the second batch files name and press enter to run it. that way you can see what messages (if any) are returned by the batch file.
Thanks

it says:

Sending recovery OKAY
Writing recovery OKAY

Then executes fastboot.exe and reboots it. Couldnt copy/paste out of the cmd window sorry, damn work pc's!

From that It looks like it flashed the recovery correctly... are you sure you are booting into clockwork correctly? Clockwork will have a nandroid option the stock revocer will not

Sorry if this has already been resolved but when we talk about mounting the SD card, this refers to the internal /Nand directory, not the SD card that fits in the slot at the bottom of the scroll i.e. taking this out is not the same as not mounting the SD card.

You can mount both the internal memory and the sdcard by plugging in the USB to the PC, then at the taskbar at the top of the scroll, pull that bar down to the bottom to reveal the 2 USB card notices - click on external and choose Mount - the same can be done for the Internal

This will Autoplay the drives on the PC allowing access to their contents

To unmount them, do the same, but choose Unmount
