I concur. No lag at all. In fact, I think it is a pleasant keyboard in both portrait & landscape mode (& this is a man with sausage fingers).
I downloaded a keyboard called GO to see if the buzzing sound goes but haven't had a quiet enough moment to test. Even the buzzing noise is quiet with the kids around!
Must say this is a fantastic investment & even my 9 year old daughter has abandoned her iPad for the extreme (she wasn't impressed with the nearly as good excel!)

Cheers. I've logged a call with support so I'll go through this process first, in case it is just a simple issue that can be resolved.

I went into the options but don't have a motorola xoom mode, perhaps you can send a screenshot? I can play the iplayer through the website and then selecting "request desktop site". The ideal would be through the app.

Cheers

Still don't think the app works, it just redirects you to the site. That may just be what the app does anyway. The Blackberry app just directs you to the site at least.

I feel I should repay the help I’ve had from this forum with my own review of the Extreme. I ordered this on 7th April with free delivery for £189.99 and it arrived 14th April. It was DOA but it took me until 15th April to ascertain this. I jumped through the Ebuyer returns hoops on that day and it was collected on 16th April. The replacement arrived 23rd April by which time the price had dropped to £179.99 leaving me a little peeved. Over the next 36 hours I spent a lot of time with it and grew to be quite impressed. The screen was lovely and whilst I didn’t manage to get the ITV player and iplayer working I was confident, given the time that I would be able to get it to do everything I wanted it to do. I did get it to run Wi-Fi from my phones mobile hotspot, and join my work network via citrix. The keyboard was responsive and games such as Angry Birds ran smoothly. I didn’t experience the speaker buzz some complain of. On the evening of 25th it stopped working. It was unresponsive to the start button and attempts to charge. I reported this on 28th and it was picked up on 30th April. My refund was made the following week. In summary, I believe that this has the capacity to be a great value tablet but there seem to be major concerns in quality control and I could not trust another unit not to give up on life after a short period of life. Ebuyer may not be the most speedy of retailers but they are polite and professional and I wouldn’t feel worried about purchasing from them again. I would however be careful to purchase items with a proven reputation. To anyone considering buying one of these models I would warn that there is a good chance you may have to kiss more than a few frogs before you find your Prince or Princess.
To all contributors to this forum – thanks – I found your help informative and reassuring.
