Right download this file

copy it to /system/bin
then go to adb shell - cd to the system/bin folder and do "chmod 775 logcat"

I assume that the cd command is basically the same as the DOS cd command, is android/linux similar in that regard. just downloading the file now

cd = cd
ls = dir
cp = copy
mv = move

right, copied the file, just trying to change the prmissions

used the comman to change the permissions is it supposed to say something or does it just do it (i.e. no confirmation, but no error either)

try adb logcat now

right if i do adb.exe, then adb logcat in windows, i get the following error

reloc library [1279]: 1685 cannot locate 'android_log_printlogline' ...cannot link executable

Looks like im in some rebooting loop, the scroll powers up but doesnt get past the welcome screen
