For the same price as all that, you could have bought a cheap tablet. :P

I support the use of these as educational tools, but the majority of people buying these initial consumer boards are just wanting a new gadget to play with I think :P. Impulse buys, as it were. I imagine the number of orders cancelled after people were told they would have to wait 3 months was pretty high.

im using mine to teach my daughter the beginnings of programming it has software they have put on with the Linux to do this, the prime reason they have built it to encouraging kids into programming at a early age because they dont teach computer science at a young age

i wonder if my daughters school have got there hands on any? will have to wait and see i do hope that R Pi can hold the market for a good while to get everyone singing the same song if you know what i mean
