OK matey.
You are amazing.
I will check the extsd later.
In the process of restoring my tablet.
With this kernel it feels snappier.
Typing seems much better too, so far.
Great work mate.
And just to confirm for others.
After flashing Suggsy's update. Your Excel will look like nothing has happend, and your Homekey will not work.
After a factory reset, all of Suggsy's greatness will appear, and the Homekey will work as normal.

Update.
As far as I can tell' navigating to /mnt/sdcard gives you your normal mounting paths. In other words, this is your internal card.
However, if you navigate to /sdcard you get the external.
Would this be the correct layout for games to place their data files on the external card mate?

Unless I am imagining things. The back button works better now.
If you open another app window while using another, pressing the Back key takes you back to the app you was using originally. I could have sworn it went back to the homescreen before.
Although, don't take this as correct, because there is rumours going around that I am completely bonkers.
Just tried a game. And game data was written to the extsd correctly :-)
I may just keep it like this.
Great work.

Just a hypothetical.
If I did decide to switch back to normal sdcard mountings, how would one go about it? Without losing this excellent update.
I take it, swapping out vold.fstab no longer achieves this?
I am trying to decide, what mountings I prefer.
This kernel update is brilliant mate.
I can confirm, the system is quicker.
So far, no more keyboard lag. I'm using Super Keyboard Pro.

You would need to swap out the boot.img in the rom, I can edit back the change I made and repack the boot.img all you then need to do is replace the other with it.

The benifit of the kernel is that it allows the processor to run at its true speed of 1.2ghz not 1ghz, but obviously battery drain might be slightly affected lol.

I thought ths was controlled by the boot.img.
If you could possibly supply a boot.img with the standard mount points, that would be amazing mate.
The work you have done with this is fantastic. And the kernel is superb. Thank you :-)
