Speedtest.net on Extreme

Postby cantisque » April 14th, 2012, 5:56 pm

Can someone with a relatively fast connection try doing a speed test from their tablet?

I want to see what sort of speeds it will cap out at. Mine will be with me on Monday (hopefully) :D

I don't know if I qualify as having a fast connection but here are my results for my Extreme compared to my hardwired desktop through BT broadband:

On Extreme:
Download - 9469kbps
Upload - 1159kbps
Ping - 152kbps

On desktop:
Download - 12100kbps
Upload - 950kbps
Ping - 25kbps

I have to say I'm not experiencing any of the issues with lag on videos reported on here, so not sure if I'm just one of the lucky ones?

I'm on Orange with alledgedly a 5Mb connection

On Extreme
Ping 60ms
Download 4.25Mbps
Upload 0.36Mbps

On Laptop
Ping 51ms
Download 4.39Mbps
Upload 0.36Mbps

I have no lag issues either. I have been pleasantly surprised how reliable the connection has been.
