Looks like Microsoft are going to try and nudge a little further into the tablet market according to this News Release:

I'm a Windows fan boy, i tested Windows 8 last year, was not impressed though

My issue is that there's too much guess work involved as to what gestures do what. I can see myself going back to using the standard desktop view, but if I am going to do that then I see no point in moving away from Windows 7.
And I swear I will not be suckered in with a Direct X version upgrade this time either!
