Got an Extreme Tablet or thinking of getting one?

Am right on the edge of buying. Came looking at the Excel as my first tablet but have been distracted by the large screen of the Extreme coupled with ICS. MInor niggles by some posters such as dirt under screen and buzzing from speaker might point to a quality control issue though. This coupled with reports of a less than slick returns policy has my mouse hesitating over the 'add to cart' button.

I'll let you know how the return goes and how the new unit works out. Because of the Easter weekend, it's going to be an excruciating wait.
Aside from the hassle of returning, all Ebuyer do is arrange someone to collect it (as quick as next day) at no cost to you. Couldn't be more efficient on their part really.

i ordered my extreme at the weekend should be here tomorrow or thursday, was looking at the fire as it is for mostly for reading but the larger screen of the extreme and the good specs sold it for me.This will be my first android device so a bit of learning to be done i think

Mine arrived last Monday, I only found and joined the forum today. Mines fine nothing seems wrong so after reading all the faults on here it's hit and miss what people get. Quality control must be non existent. Maybe why when I bought it it was £190 and a week later it's £168 A huge drop for a four week old tablet. My brother was going to order one but I've just told him to wait and see how mine goes for the next week or so. It'll probably be £150 by then or hopefully the quality will pick up.

I'm a little apprehensive now, tried to do as much research as possible and thought I'd made the right choice, didn't want to spend to much in case I didn't take to using tablet and this seemed to be a very good price, I love my laptop, but it can be a bit cumbersomeness to carry around at times, especially when going on holiday. I'm familiar with android as I have an android phone, but reading all the reviews on the forum has made me a little worried, and I really hate bad customer services, I'm just hoping that the one I get is a good one. It's taken an age to get here it will be almost a week. If I'd bought off ebay it would have been £12.00 cheaper and arrived within 2-3 days, but like a sucker I believed the information I got that it was only available from Ebuyer.com.

done exactly the same Tattyhead64, I ordered the tablet thinking at that price is was a bargain to then go on a Google spree and find all the problematic tablets people have received on this forum, and to then realise I ordered it when they were out of stock on ebuyer, I also should be receiving mine next week, once it arrives I'll be sure to update on the forum with my review on it, I had even been thinking of doing to proper video review as it doesn't seem to have any reviews or comparisons online at all (other than this forum)
