cantisque wrote:By default the browser is set to request iPad versions of sites (go figure?). You need to set it to Desktop or Xoom, or anything else, because BBC will reject requests from iPads because they don't support Flash.
If you change the settings as previously mentioned, it will work (albeit poorly).

Don't know if this ever happened or not but apparently Adobe did provide a workaround for the iPad and Flash content: http://www.bgr.com/2011/09/09/adobe-fin ... -and-ipad/
If it isn't broken then don't try to fix it!

I wasn't even aware popups could be blocked at a hardware level O_O.

BBC iPlayer only works for 2 min then starts stuttering and stopping completely. I tried all different browser modes, updated flash, opera...etc. I am connected WiFi n @150mbps my internet is very fast!

I think the problem is with the iPlayer itself as I read somewhere in a page that BBC acknowledge that and they are working on a fix and in the meantime users will be directed to the main web site. So the App itself doesn't work at all for now and maybe the web site version is just not compatible with mobiles/tablets. I wish I had another tablet or iPad to try it but I don't.
Today i will be nice to all the people that i meet regardless of their attitude towards me!
No day is so bad it can't be fixed with a nap!

I managed to get BBC iPlayer working on my Extreme by changing the browser settings to Android & installing Adobe Air :P
Does anyone know how to get ITV Player it's not in the list of available apps, but I managed to install it on my Samsung Galaxy S11 mobile - has anyone even got it working in a browser?

Hi - new to the forum. I found this post on another site ref. iplayer. Not tested it yet as waiting for Extreme to be delivered. " After extensive testing I've found http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/bigscreen/ works and doesn't do the stuttering!"
