Mine arrived on Friday and seems fine, good battery life (so far) and a nice screen. It's worth remembering that for everyone who takes the trouble to find this forum and complain there are probably loads of happy users who just buy and use the device.

I agree Jane, there will be loads out there where who won't be bothered joining a forum like this and posting their thiughts. But any information can be better than nothing, and that is why I joined the forum.

I had one duff Extreme which was returned. My replacement seems fine. It is nit the best devic ever, but factoring in the cost, it is up there with the leaders in my opinion.

I think Scroll may have been unlucky with a bad batch of Extremes in their early production run, which is always a bad time as it usually ties in with a launch.

Regards

Kevin

Was seriously thinking about it.

Now have ICS on the excel, so you have to think "What are the benefits"

Worth 70-80 quid, I think not

I've just received my Scroll Extreme today, was a bit careful and took time to examine it :) there wasn't any dead pixels (not matter how hard I looked) and there was no marks on or under the glass so all looks good I've been playing with it for around 3/4 hrs straight installing apps, browsing web, playing some games and from opening the box I still have 67% battery left I'll do the first long charge tonight. Its now my best friend!!

Received my Scroll Extreme yesterday and I to looked over it very carefully, used it for 6 hours yesterday everything fine. I'm really pleased with it up to now but as I said only received it yesterday. The only thing I've noticed is that when I got up this morning and turned it on the wi-fi wouldn't connect, it took a good 10 mins to sort it out. Don't know whether I've done something wrong, but I've set up over loads of wi-fi installations before with out any problems.

I think it's catching.
Lack of money :(
Although there is nothing wrong with my beloved Excel. So I will carry on happy with that.

Just got mine yesterday eve. Well impressed so far.

No real probs with Play store, widget was there to add straight away. Wifi given me no probs at all yet.

Slicker/smoother than I expected though the single core processor struggles occasionally when you've lots going on but hey, for less than half the price of an iPad (LOL - iPad) I ain't complaining. Screen is beautiful and bright.

Have been on it pretty constantly all day (new toy), currently 8hrs 33mins running off battery only (Gave it good charge the night before) and BatterMinder App still says 14% left!

Bargain!

Oh Woe is me, I'm having to send back my Scroll Extreme, I thought I was one of the lucky one a got a good one, unfortunately , as reported a couple of days a go the problem with the Wi-Fi dropping out got worse, spoke to the Techs at Storage Options and they said I'll have to return it as it is faulty. I really don't want to send it back, I love it, but it's faulty. Good luck DaBOOm and salfordphil.

I have noticed issues with wifi dropout. If I press the power button or if it goes to sleep it takes a while for the webpages to respond. I often get the page is down response.

The only option I have found is to shut it down and then restart. Wifi works straight away with no connection issues.

Does anyone else have this problem?
