EA games help please

I keep getting a 5002 error with all EA games.

Its a known glitch with EA games and some tablets, the only way around it is to download the game on another android device and copy the data folder for the game found in your Android/Data folder to your tablet. I've tried this with a few but I don't think the games are compatible with the Extreme, (they got past the 5002 error started loading and just crashed).

It's odd because they worked fine with the Essential

I think but not sure, they use different cpu's and gpu's which means games interact differently

Just checked and they both seem to use the same CPU and GPU (I have the more recent model of the Essential)

was it ICS on the essential running these games or GB?

yes more likely ICS conflict
ICS is still having probs all over the place on all devices not just the scroll!

ok how do u go about changing the device id then?
are you on about changing the build prop?
any help you can give me would be really grateful
